I purchased this for an over-bed table (which I use as a drawing table). I wanted to keep the entire surface area open plus limit the chances of spilling my beverage. It attaches easily, and I was pleasantly surprised that it holds my 32 oz. travel mug, in addition to oversized coffee mugs, glasses, etc. It clamps on (rather than being a spring -- like a "clothespin-- like several of the styles I looked at). It is sturdy and can't easily be "bumped" or knocked loose. It's definitely worth the price I paid, and I would order it again." - Trent A. Jessup.
